The top margin is 0 665 in on page 4 which is below the required margin of 0 7 in. Therefore to add a separator line it suffices to change the width of the column separator rule using the setlength macro.

It is with figures having subplots closer to each other than what edas wants as a column spacing gutter width. This coupled with symmetric hori zontal margins means that there will not be a noticeable difference between the one and two sided options.
