So we cut all of our tongue and groove to 84 1 2 inches.
Drive the screws through the 1 6 to secure the 1 12 boards.

Cut one rabbet on two boards that will be used on the outside edges.
A table saw with a dado blade will also work.
We used a 3 8 in.
Cut along the scribe lines on the inside to half the depth of the cross pieces and eliminate the waste this can be done with repeated cuts to the right depth then chiseling the waste away.
Scribe on each side of the door.
