Seriously if the doors don t fit right before you cut the roof off a car i can assure you that they won t fit after you weld it back on and the results could be permanent.
The seat rests on top of the wall that you re attaching the particular rafter to while the shoulder cut parallels the wall and allows several inches of each rafter to overhang the roof.
Cut the last ridge shingle to the length you need but be sure that no part of the roof is exposed.
After the cuts are done the roof will be real floppy.
Before you cut your boards you ll need to measure the width of your building and calculate the exact length of each rafter.
Earlier model cars and pickup trucks were boxier shaped than the ones produced in the 50s and 60s and not very aerodynamic.
Then fold the flashing over the peak and cover the cut ends with self stick underlayment.
