Here s how i did it.
Install the inside.
Fasten both with mounting screws.
Measure 41 inches 100 cm from the floor.
Insert your new handle s latch into the hole on the door s inside edge.
How to replace an exterior door handle.

Position the latch in the hole on the inside.
Fit the lock over the projecting cylinder post and put the knob s spindle and rosette assembly on the thumb latch post.
Begin installing the inside lever by orienting the lever to point away from the edge of the door with the screw holes aligned vertically.
Although you could follow the directions that come with your handle instructions the most common placement for a door handle is 41 inches 100 cm.
Install the outside handle if your new door handle attaches to the door at a point below the lower borehole.
Remove the screws from the face plate behind the handle on the exterior side of the door using a screwdriver or drill.

Slide the adjustable throughbolt up or down as needed and press the handleset onto the door.
