Then reinstall on the latch assy making sure the rod on the lock motor is lined up with the locking arm on the latch.

How to fix f150 door lock.

Remove plugs start by removing the grid covered elbow vent beneath the exposed part of the door latch. Put the motor back in and zip tied the assy along with some sealer on the plastic rivets. Spray the lubricant i used pb blaster as in the picture to lubricate the latch mechanisms. Unplug the harness from the mechanism and use a screwdriver to push out the clips holding the actuator to the mechanism.
